Shpfoto.com is a professional photography and design team, Siobhan Hegarty is the photographer and Conor McGlone is the graphic designer. Until 2005 we were based in Donegal, Ireland but we are now resident in Acquasparta which is in Umbria, Italy. We offer contemporary wedding and portrait photography for couples who are getting married in central Italy. We work in Rome, Florence, Tuscany, Umbria and parts of Le Marche.
In Ireland we owned and ran a photography studio for 7 years and over this time we built up a successful business. Siobhan became one of Ireland's sought after wedding photographers, covering up to eighty weddings a year throughout the country. Over the years we had fallen in love with Italy, and in 2005 we decided that we would make the move and emigrate to Umbria in the heart of the country. Being in the wedding business and also lovers of all things Italian we had noticed that more and more Irish, English and American couples were choosing to get married in Italy, so we thought that having an English speaking photographer to cover the wedding would be a great benifit and also one less thing to worry about on the big day.
We also own and run a bed and breakfast here in Acquasparta called Casa Lillà and we have a beautiful large 2 bedroom holiday apartment available for rental.
